I am back!!!

God it seems to be a long winter!!! and very cold but this past week we have seen light at the end of the tunnel. We have been busy with William and Fred in door show jumping and both have improved a great deal.
We have also bought a new TB stallion and are so far thrilled with him. He is now settling and getting into our routine and getting used to a mixed yard and having girls one side of him (well Belle) and Tim the other!! He is a smart chap and i am sure he will make an impact on the hack world as a sire. We have decided to stand him at a very cheap fee (£250) this year so we can get some stock on the floor by him. He does have a very sweet nature and easy to do.
Mean while Excellente has come through the winter looking fab and has put on loads of condition. We have now turned him out with some mares to learn some manners when covering ie we dont rape!!!! and he has turned into a total gent. I dont think i have ever come across such a complete change in a horse as this. He was always a poppet to do in the stable just a handful covering but he is now so lovely. He is living out but i am piling food into him.
Archie has also come through the winter well and has been living out with his Irish Draft friend Revel who he is very fond of!! (loves to boss him because Revel bless him is a bit short of brain cells!!!) Revel is now for sale and really will make someone a lovely ridden cob.
We have sold a great deal of our ponies now and Scooby has gone out on lease for a year ( I do miss him little toad!) his babies have turned out to be really super.
Belle is off to boarding school with my dear friend Cindy for a few weeks. Cindy knows this family so well and i know she will come back a much better person for it. Not that she is bad.

I am so excited about seeing some of our babies come out under saddle this year and i do wish Rebecca and Teddy (Snow Patrol) and Mathew Lawrence with Storm the very best of luck. Keep me posted.

Also i have been very lucky in acquiring some very lovely brood mares and am so excited about their babies. Watch the website for their details to be posted soon.

In the meantime we start foaling in 3 weeks so sleepless nights here we come. I will keep this up to date then.
